Newburgh-Beacon-Stewart Link

Traveling to New York Stewart International Airport by train is simple and free in 2026. The Newburgh–Beacon–Stewart Shuttle, operated by Leprechaun Lines, connects Metro-North Hudson Line trains at Beacon Station directly to Stewart Airport and the Route 17K Park & Ride. Riders can choose an Express route between Beacon and the airport or a Local route with additional stops in Downtown Newburgh.

The expanded schedule offers more frequent trips and convenient connections to Metro-North trains. Complimentary rides are available to all passengers throughout 2026. (Please note: at times when no flights are scheduled, some buses may end at North Plank Road in Newburgh instead of serving the airport.)

New York City

Metro-North's Hudson Line offers direct link to New York City (Grand Central Terminal) via Beacon Station. Access from New York Stewart International Airport to Beacon Station is available through Leprechaun Lines Newburgh Beacon Shuttle.

The shuttle bus departs in front of the Terminal Building, operates Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. (last departing shuttle), costs $1 and must be paid to the driver in cash. During off-hours, taxi service is available to the station.

New Jersey

Metro-North's Port Jervis Line offers direct link to Hoboken, New Jersey via Salisbury Mills Station.

Schedule ground transportation to Salisbury Mills Station at New York Stewart International Airport’s Welcome Center or speak with Customer Care Representatives (CCRs) located through out the airport terminal.

Amtrak

Medium-and long-distance railroad service in the contiguous United States is available from Poughkeepsie and Croton-Harmon.
