Traveling with pets and service animals
Travelers bringing a pet or service animal on-board should notify their airline before arriving at the airport. Airlines can provide guidance on in‑cabin accommodations, seasonal restrictions, and required documentation to help avoid delays.
Pets must remain in approved carriers and stay with their owners at all times. Service animals are not required to be in carriers but must remain leashed and under the handler’s control throughout the airport.
Does your pet or service animal need a break? If your pet or service animal needs a relief break, there is a designated pet relief area available outside the terminal, located towards the north end of the terminal. Please use the provided materials to clean up after your animal. If an accident occurs outside the pet relief area, clean it up and notify airport staff. The pet relief area can be found on the airport map or by asking an Airport Customer Experience Specialist (ACES).
