Bayonne Bridge Navigational Clearance
Along with the Army Corps of Engineers, we're looking to find the best, most cost-effective solution to address the Bayonne Bridge's clearance problem.

Goethals Bridge
As part of the Port Authority's efforts to build a new Goethals Bridge, the U.S. Coast Guard has issued a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed project.

New Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance Requirements for Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems Manual
Inspection, Testing & Maintenance Requirements for Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems. This Manual is intended to clearly define inspection, testing and maintenance requirements for all Fire Protection and Life Safety systems throughout the Agency. Third party contractors and tenants are also required to conform to same procedures on systems and equipment they are respectively responsible for by their service contracts and lease agreements.

Cross Harbor Freight Project
As part of the Port Authority Regional Goods Movement Improvement Program, this project conducts an Environmental Impact Statement for the Cross Harbor Freight Movement Project (CHFMP) and is authorized to spend $100 in federal funds that have been earmarked for the PA's use for CHFMP-related freight studies or investments.

Lower Manhattan-Jamaica-JFK Transit Link Alternative Analysis
Estimates ridership level attributable to the Lower Manhattan-JFK one-seat-ride service, including draft analysis that includes capital and operating cost estimates and ridership projections.

Regional Goods Movement Plan
Seeks to develop a comprehensive long-term regional goods movement plan for the New York/New Jersey region that establishes a framework and action plan for the identification and prioritization of freight strategies and projects within a 30-year planning horizon.

Regional Passenger Ferry Study
This study will identify how regional passenger ferry service is currently funded, what role ferry transportation plays in the regional transportation network, the public and private sector roles in ferry transportation, and what funding and financing options are available for ferries.

West of Hudson Regional Transit Access Study (WHRTAS)
The MTA Metro-North Railroad (Metro-North) in partnership with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) and in cooperation with New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) and New Jersey Transit (NJT) has initiated a planning study to identify and assess transit solutions to improve mobility and accessibility in the West of Hudson region and to Stewart International Airport from the surrounding regions, Lower Hudson Valley and New York City.

Estimates the direct and indirect jobs, wages and total economic activity that will be generated by the construction and development of the World Trade Center.
